What lamination actually does, and what it does not
Lamination changes the direction the hairs lie in. The hairs are softened, brushed upward and outward, and set in place. Brows that grow in several directions at once, or lie flat against the skin, are exactly the case it solves: once the hairs are lifted, they cover more surface and the brow reads as fuller without anything being added to it.
What lamination does not do is change the colour or add hairs where none grow. If your brows are pale, or thin at the inner base, colour is the tool for that, which is why the two are so often combined.
The effect holds four to six weeks and fades gradually as the hairs grow out, so there is no point at which it suddenly looks wrong. Most clients settle into a rhythm of every five to six weeks.
Shaping: tweezers and wax, not thread
We shape with tweezers and wax. We do not do threading, so if that specific technique is what you want, a dedicated threading bar is the better address. It is worth saying plainly rather than letting you find out at the appointment.

The practical reason to combine them is the rhythm: lashes on a 6 to 8 week cycle and brows on a 4 to 6 week cycle line up often enough that one visit covers both, and you spend one trip instead of two.
