Permanent makeup for eyebrows is intradermal pigmentation lasting from 18 months to three years. At PLACE in Warsaw Wola we specialize in one technique — ombre brows (powder brows). It is a smooth machine-applied shading that mimics everyday powder makeup. The price of 1000 PLN includes consultation, mapping, treatment, materials, aftercare and a touch-up after 4-6 weeks.
What is ombre brows (powder brows)?
Ombre is soft shading with pigment — lighter at the head, darker towards the tail. The result resembles light everyday powder makeup: the brows look dense and natural, defined but without a "drawn" look. Individual hairs are not visible — what you see is shape and even fill. Clients usually describe it as: "I wake up with my brows already done, no need to add anything."
Why we specialize in one method
We chose ombre after years of practice because it gives the most predictable and durable effect on every skin type — including oily skin, which is common in Warsaw due to the urban climate. Ombre durability is 18-36 months, the longest of all PMU techniques. The method works equally well at 30 and at 60, because soft shading forgives natural changes in face contour with age.
Why no microblading or hair stroke?
Microblading cuts the skin with a manual blade — accumulates micro-scars with repeat sessions and blurs into a patch on oily skin within 8-10 months. Machine hair stroke is a different style that imitates individual hairs with a fine needle — beautiful on dry skin, but on oily skin each faded line becomes a visible gap after a year.
At PLACE we don't try to be an "everything studio". We perform one technique, the best one for most clients in Warsaw. If you absolutely want a "hair-by-hair" look, we will honestly say at the consultation whether ombre is the right choice for you.
REACH-compliant pigments
We work with Etalon Mix pigments, fully compliant with EU REACH regulation 2020/2081 (Annex XVII Entry 75). All ingredients are within EU safety standards for PMU pigments. SDS sheets available on request.
Performed personally by the salon owner
At PLACE permanent makeup is performed exclusively by Malwina — the salon owner. We never train juniors on clients. One person leads the whole process from consultation to touch-up.
PLACE is located at Wawrzyszewska 3, Wola district — 5 minutes from Młynów metro (M2). Booking the PMU appointment requires 1-2 weeks notice.

How much does permanent brow makeup cost in Warsaw?
Market average is 900-1200 PLN with touch-up included. At PLACE - 1000 PLN. Price includes consultation, mapping, treatment, materials (Etalon Mix REACH pigments), aftercare and touch-up after 4-6 weeks. Prices of 300-500 PLN are a red flag - usually no touch-up, non-EU pigments or limited technician training.
Does permanent brow makeup hurt?
3-4 out of 10 with good anesthesia. Discomfort comparable to tweezing - bearable and short. Clients usually say afterwards: much less painful than I expected. Most sensitive moment is the first machine pass before the secondary anesthesia kicks in.
How long does the effect last?
Ombre brows last 18-36 months — the longest of all PMU techniques. Oily skin and UV exposure accelerate fading by 25-30% per year, but even then the effect typically lasts around 1.5 years. Refresh after 1-2 years (600 PLN at PLACE for existing clients) extends the effect further.
